On Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, our Cathedral Choir, Cantors and Youth Singers under the direction of Rebekah Danks and Vasilije Katanic performed a wonderful Advent concert preparing the community for the Feast of Christmas.  The selections included select hymns  and popular Christmas Carols, with a finale sing-a-long!

Following the concert, everyone gathered in the Cathedral social hall for a delcious lunch and annual celebration of "Children's Day."  As part of the festivities, our Sunday School students, under the direction of Vasilije Katanic and Mirjana Pavichevich, performed a play which was a local adaptation of the popular story, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" with a Nativity Pageant.  The students, parents and guests were all thrilled watching this inspiring performance by our students.  As a finale, everyone welcomed "Jolly Ol' Saint Nicholas" who presented gifts to all the children.
