Festival of Learning
The 2023-2024 Sunday school year concluded with a lot of fanfare, thanks to the eleventh annual Festival of Learning, the unique learning event where the parishioners visit the class displays in an ‘open house’ setting in the Social hall pavilion and walk away with not only an understanding of what the students learned throughout the year, but also a greater knowledge themselves of the Orthodox Christian Faith as presented in word, art, and song: children and adults educated together in a joyful, festive atmosphere!  The morning began with the student youth chorus leading the singing of the Divine Liturgy.  At the conclusion of the liturgy, school excellence in attendance awards were presented to Katarina Pavichevich and Stefan Robles.  The festival of learning was also the time to honor our high school graduating class of 2024.  Our graduates Hayden Bullard and Michael Savic were honored and received the gift of The Orthodox Study Bible from the Cathedral with all our prayers and best wishes in their college and university studies.
