Religious Cultural Association

Members of the RCA are primarily the parents of our Church School children, but also include others who have an interest in youth ministry. For details on the work of our RCA please refer to the Auxiliary page of this site.

Children’s Chorus

Through this ministry, the children of Saint Steven’s are offered the marvelous opportunity of learning Orthodox Christian music. The program is designed to encourage their God-given musical acts of stewardship through song.

Summer and Winter Camping Programs

Each year during the Summer, and during the Winter, children grades 1-12 from our parish join others for a fun and educational camping program sponsored by the Western American Diocese and held at the Saint Sava Mission Retreat center in Jackson, California in Summer and locally in the San Gabriel Mountains in the Winter. The Winter Camp is sponsored by our RCA which also offers stipends to the Summer Camp to qualifying children.

Youth Athletics

Our youth athletics program is available to young people from elementary school age to high school. Games and activities and are led by qualified, dedicated and caring volunteer coaches.

Summer Day Camp – Vacation Church School

Volunteers who organize our children’s day camp program always return from their experience at camp saying that they have received more from the experience than they could ever give--priceless spiritual rewards.

Sunday School

All Sunday school classes PK through 12th grade begin after Holy Communion each Sunday during the school year from September to Pentecost Sunday.

Youth Group

This committee of volunteer youth leaders strives to equip and enable our young people to live the Orthodox Faith through service to Christ, the Church and the world on a daily basis.
