Saint Steven's Annual Report 2023

Dear members,  parishioners and supporters and friends of Saint Steven's Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, "The Cathedral of the Pacific"!

 I take this opportunity to once again thank everyone for their active participation in the life and work of the Church. Our annual meeting was held on February 25th, and it was a beautiful assembly of the congregation spending a little time looking back, as well as looking ahead to the work we can do together this year. I congratulate our newly re-elected board members President Dushan Pavichevich, Vice-Presidents Ian Dempsey and Kathryn Olaiz and Secretary Milan Cvejic, as well as all of the auxiliary officers, auditors, delegates and vestrymen (tutori) elected and appointed to serve our beloved parish this year.  Though 2024 has already presented our parish with a few challenges, like certain infrastructure matters and capital improvements, I have the certitude that with God's help, working together, we will continue to meet the challenges we face and faithfully serve one another to the glory of God and for our personal and collective spiritual well-being and progress.

As discussed at the annual meeting, the past year 2023 was another wonderful year of great blessings for our Cathedral family, made possible by the generosity and labor of love of all of us working together for the glory of God.  Of course, it is impossible to capture all of the many wonderful things we did together last year, but I hope this Annual Report which was presented at our meeting, highlights some of them for you.  Click  here  to read the full report online.

Once again, I express my gratitude to God for all of you and our beloved Cathedral parish.  Yes, there are always some challenges and work yet to be done, but I am confident that with God's help and your continued support, together, we will do many more good things and glorify our God in Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
